One of the biggest problems with current theories in physics is the lack of a consistent way to
explain matter at both the atomic and the cosmic level. The Standard Model cannot explain the
reality of the observed universe and General Relativity is incompatible with atomic behaviour.
Neither theory can satisfactorily explain where all the matter in the universe comes from nor
how it interacts.
Introduction
Occam’s Razor
So, let’s get started
My starting point was from Fredrik Nygaard’s underlying propositions about the existence of an aether, fundamental quanta and the
key role of the neutrino. Although my model proposes a very different neutrino which results in radically different explanations for the
physics of the atom, it is nonetheless developed from these same underlying foundations. I’ve therefore included in the early sections
some references to relevant parts of his work for fuller explanation and to acknowledge them as the essential spark for my own work.
The aim of this work is to offer an alternative model which includes both the atomic and the
cosmic. It comes about after reading Fredrik Nygaard’s ‘Universe of Particles’ and ‘Aether
Physics’ books, in which he presents a model of physics requiring just a single electric force
operating within an aether of photons and neutrinos.
Abstract
A model of subatomic physics that offers an alternative to the current incomplete Standard Model and
presents a different explanation for the creation, structure and stability of the atom and the forces
governing nature, including gravity. It requires nothing more than the interaction of four recognised
elementary particles and one single force.
A Structured Neutrino Model of particle
physics and the creation of matter
The Structured Neutrino model presented here attributes a set of properties to the neutrino and, in a
logical step by step fashion, builds upon these to explain the electrostatic force, gravity, the nature of
nuclear bonding and atomic structure, how protons are created and then grow into stable particles
and the creation of matter to produce stars.
I wholeheartedly agree with this view. Nature is almost certainly intrinsically simple rather than
inherently complex and the current Standard Model has so many glaring holes, necessitating
super-complex mathematical constructs and some highly imaginative theoretical propositions
to try to fill them, that perhaps we need to start again with some new or different thinking.
My alternative model, presented here, accepts his underlying propositions about fundamental quanta and the existence of an aether
but differs significantly about the structure, properties and behaviour of the essential aether particle, the neutrino. This model
proposes that neutrinos have a simple orbital structure comprising the two fundamental particles, the positive quantum and the
negative quantum, bound by the single fundamental force, which is the attraction between positive and negative. With this structure,
neutrinos, while remaining neutral, can then be ‘polarised’ by collision with a charged body.
The model explains and resolves what is currently seen as the problematic imbalance of matter and
antimatter in the universe, why gravity is so much weaker than the electrostatic and nuclear forces,
the failure to detect dark matter and dark energy, the existence of the cosmic microwave background
and the incompatibility of Relativity with the subatomic. It also offers an alternative explanation for
gravitational red/blueshift, relativistic time dilation and the constant value for the speed of light.
I hope that the net result will be, at very least, that it may stimulate others to take a fresh look at things, as it did me.
This simple construct then leads naturally to very different explanations, consistent at both the atomic and the cosmic level, for a
range of areas including the electrostatic force, gravity, the nuclear binding force, atomic structure, the size of the proton and the
creation of matter. All of which is set out in the following pages.
